Sparkly heart update #3

Hardest thing I have ever done was to just leave Gabriella. She just went into the OR. They gave her Versed to calm her but she still cried for mommy the whole way. My heart is breaking. I can only beg to God to protect her as her life changes forever tonight.

Pleading for prayer tonight from everyone.

Kristi Our pastor read Romans 8:26,27 in church this sunday and It comes to mind now.
Even when you have no words the Lord God knows your heart!! You have so many people praying for you Sweet Gabriella.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.”

Sending prayers that everything will go well. My mother just had a transplant three weeks ago, the waiting is the worst. Please try to find comfort knowing that there are people all around the world praying for your little princess tonight! Tons of hugs.

I have never posted to you before, but have followed your blog since your little girl's stroke. I pray for the safety of your little girl as she takes the next step in her journey. I know God's healing hands are on her and I pray for your entire family. You have given us all a new sense of awareness about the importance of organ donation, and I pray for the family who made the choice of donation through their grief. My heart is with you tonight!

I can't imagine how hard that was! Ethan was 4 mos at his last OHS and it was pretty tough handing him over but he just cried. I dread the day when the cries & pleas for "Mommy!!" ring out...

We are praying!!!!!

Praying so hard for all involved. My heart breaks thinking of how you must have felt as G is calling for you. So thankful the Lord has her in His hand and also has you in those same hands. Praise Jesus that your faith is so strong and you can talk to Him through all of this and feel the peace only He can give. You are amazing and I am praying lots.

Praying so strongly and sincerely for Gabriella, you, dad, and just about everyone in the "heart family" circle. Paul Cardall has a photo onnhis web site of Christ in the operating room overseeing all. The sweet spirit of the faithful will calm your hearts and guide the doctor's decisions.
