Updating bedside as my beautiful baby rests. After consulting with a couple hospitals, they decided on Asprin treatment to help slowly break up the clot. Will be a long weekend of waiting and watching for improvement in ICU. She is giving half mouthed grins and nodding her head. Starting to be irritable with her lack of arm movement and not being able to talk. If you have the priveledge of knowing Gabriella, talking is major.

We have assured her that her arm is just lazy and will move again soon. And that she is like Ariel, who lost her voice but got it back.

Please keep the prayers coming. That clot has no chance in the face of God's powerful mercy!

I am SO sorry, my heart just sunk. We are praying for Gabriella right now. I'm sure it's confusing, scary, frustrating! I hope that the Asprin breaks up the clot and she won't need stronger treatment. Are you at PCH PICU E? If so.. the nurses and doctors will take good care of you!! We love PICU E!

I will blog a prayer request and PLeASE let me know if there is ANYTHING we can do to help out!

I came to find your blog through Owen and his family. I do not know them personally, but through a friend of a friend. We all live in the same area and frequent the same hospital, Phoenix Childrens. Our hearts are heavy to hear about Gabriella's stroke but will be keeping your family and your sweet little girl in our thoughts. We are sending healing, loving, and clot dissolving vibes your way!

I'm stopping over from The Simmon's Family blog and I just want you to know that I'm praying for you and your family and your daughter.

Father, I ask that as this family pulls together in this trying time that You guide them and the doctors treating Gabriella. I ask that they be compassionate and tender with her heart, that they be swift and knowledgeable in their treatments, and that they be Your laborers at this time. Take care of this child of Yours.
Amen
